Partnering with schools, non-profits, and community groups, we will use our film to create vital conversations about mental health, personal development, and the power of connection & vulnerability.
Why?
As our society wrestles with complex issues involving masculinity, gender identity, and an epidemic of loneliness, everyone is impacted. We need community, but we’re having trouble opening up and coming together.
How We Can Help
Movies are incredible tools for opening people's hearts and minds -- fueling conversations that can change lives and improve our society.
Across the country, there are schools, community groups, and non-profit organizations hungry for accessible, engaging content that can serve as a springboard for these vital, empowering conversations.
Our Impact Campaign will connect the film, and the men featured in it, with organizations across the country that can leverage its message and engage their community members - convening screenings and conversations to help illuminate a path to healthier lives and relationships.
Your support of this campaign will enable us to share the message of Fortunate Sons with the many people and families who need the inspiration.
How It Works
Through the partnerships created in this grass-roots initiative, we can inspire and heal people in communities across the country...not by lecturing, but by sharing individual experiences that are communicated with candor and vulnerability.
Our process:
Through extensive research, conventions, and our growing network of fans, we identify potential mission-aligned, partner organizations.
The basic partnership concept: the school/organization hosts a screening of Fortunate Sons for their membership, and if desired, we can provide a filmmaker and/or a key classmate as speakers for a post-screening conversation.
The school/organization can either a) license the film from us and screen it for their students/membership for free, or b) sell screening tickets to their membership and split the revenue.
And another group of receptive souls engage with the invaluable message of Fortunate Sons, and carry it back out into their lives and communities.
